We've had such a lovely summer together (what with me being out of work) doing loads of walking. You know, we're ever so grateful that you let us have such a fantastic pup :-). Not a day goes by when Andrew or me doesn't say how lucky we are with her and how lovely she is ... she's one in a billion :-)

We were at Andrew's parents' house in Scotland and you'll be pleased to know that she behaved impeccably the whole time and charmed everyone she met :-). And she LOVED the mountains/beaches/open spaces

Tui is such a softee ... I can't imagine her protecting me from a woodlouse let alone a grizzly :-). She hardly ever barks ... only the occasional wuff if it's dark and someone surprises us. I think her temperament is a little atypical as well ... she just loves people and isn't really that reserved at all. Her only concession to 'reserved' is that she won't let strangers actually touch her until Mum comes along :-). That said, she stands only just out of reach with her bum wiggling like mad :-). Everyone in the village just loves her.

Thank you Sarian and Andrew for giving Tui a fantastic life and home. I know you just love her.

As promised, here are some photos of Tui and me doing cani-cross. We came 7th out of 15 in our class (23 mins for 5km) ... which isn't bad considering it was for 13 to 39 year olds and I'm definitely at the top end of that category ;-). Hopefully next time (in Bristol in December)

Kiwi is an eye catching, attractive red merle, moderately built with good bone structure and movement. Over the last 18 months, although still a baby she turned out to be a loving character with all who she meets, intelligent and quick to learn, motivated in any activity I ask her to try and a great companion. She has qualified to work in ykc obedience at crufts 2007 and also qualified for crufts 2007 at her first CH breed show of the year. Kiwi is currently training for competition obedience, agility and her favourite HTM and I’m sure she will do well in coming years.

Bear is my beautiful red bi boy from this lovely litter, whose style, agility, ability and temperment are superb and everything i had hoped for from this mating. His attitude to life can be summarised in a nutshell by Forrerst Gumps quote 'life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what your gonna get' whether that be for him obedience, swimming, frisbee, walking, playing or biking he just loves the whole concept and puts his heart and soul into pleasing you.

His biggest desire is to make you laugh as for some reason this really pushes his button and makes him become an even bigger clown than he already is and the game is definetly on. This is great as usually its my 17 year old son he targets and they amuse themselves for hours with Lance usually piggy pagging Bear around the house, we try not to laugh to loud or you are the next target.

My husband calls Bear a thug because he has never experienced a dog that throws himself literally at you. He is so exuburant when he greets a member of the family he cannot keep his feet on the floor, his tongue in his mouth or his tail on his bum. Hence one of his many nicknames is wriggles or zebedee.

As for me apart from all of these things it has to be his smile it is such an addiction that i need a daily dose and they are usually kept for me on my arrival from work, or when i have produced something that pushes his button. He is a very 'special boy' in our household and i always thought i had experienced my once in a life time dog and was dreading the fact that i might compare him as you often unintentionally do. Well all i can say is nothing compares to the joy and experience he brings me usually on a daily basis 'lol'. He is definetly a high octane Aussie who never ceases to amaze and amuse us and never stays still long enough for us to become use to his exploits, life would be so boring without him.

She has settled in well, she is ruling the roost already, chasing Ben all over the place. She is a greedy wee pup, never seen one jump so high for a biscuit!..

We will definitely not spoil her, it will be hard though as she is just perfect. She is sleeping under our Bed at night with Ben and jumps up in the morning licking and wagging her backside!.

Meg is loved and owned by Carol and Julian and lives in Dorset, this is what Julian says about Miss Meg:)
Meg is a year old. She settled in very quickly and has become a fabulous pet. She is very obedient.If the rest of the litter are up to her standard of intelligence and character their respective owners must be as delighted as we are. Speedy is her nature, she never stops running, playing,vyeing for 1st place and loves to stand on her hind legs. All in all she is a hell of a character and we love her to bits. She helped fill a great void that was created with the loss of our other two Aussies.
